Outdoor murals have a long history in Chicago, often reflecting specific time periods and movements in the communities that they adorn. Join artists Meg Duguid and Bernard Williams in conversation with Chicago Collections Consortium Executive Director Jeanne Long on the influences, advantages, and challenges to the creation of murals in the city today.
Meg Duguid is an artist and arts administrator who currently serves as chief curator of the Wabash Arts Corridor and as director of exhibitions for Columbia College Chicago’s Department of Exhibits, Performances, and Student Spaces.
Bernard Williams is an artist, educator, and board president of the Chicago Public Art Group.
