Join us on Instagram on July 14 for an IGTV Artist Studio Tour with Anya Davidson, a Chicago-based cartoonist, graphic journalist, and musician. Davidson is the author of three graphic novels, including the 2016 publication Band for Life from Fantagraphics Books, a story about a noise rock band and the creative community set in an alternative reality version of Chicago. Davidson also serves as a lecturer of painting and drawing at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her work is featured in the exhibition Chicago Comics: 1960s to Now, on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago from June 19 to October 3, 2021.
